Ever since Christ came into my heart this past winter, I have been on fire for the Lord!  Coming from where I was to where I am today has been the ride of my life!  Now I’m not saying that my Walk with God has been easy, in fact it’s been tough!  What I am saying though is that through each trial faced, He has given me strength to persevere.  Strength that I never had before.  My Heavenly Father has redeemed me and given me a completely new outlook on what hope really looks like.

I pray that when people see me, they see a man who has been restored because of the debt paid on the cross.  I pray that when people see me, they see a man that is ALIVE because the Spirit is ALIVE in him!  This redeeming hope is found in Christ.  The good news?  Anyone can have it!  The challenge?  It’s up to us as believers to deliver this message.  This is what it means to share the Gospel.

Overseas in the various Third World Countries found along my route, some do not have any hope.  It is my prayer that I may be used to reach out and help spread the Gospel.  To reach out to the lost, poor, hungry and sick and tell them that there is hope!  The reality of it all is that it is impossible for me to do this on my own.  I need your help!  I have currently raised $4,835 out of $15,500.  I still need over $10,000 to be fully funded for The World Race.  On my last post about relationships, I had over 425 views!  I’m thrilled that so many people are interested to see how God moves!  My final prayer for this post is that He may move in you.

Please consider making a contribution to help propel me forward in this endeavor.  No donation is too small!  If you would like to help, you may contribute in one of two ways.  First, by clicking “Support Me!” an online donation may be submitted.  Second, you may send a personal check (Jeffrey Ballance) to 804 Joshua Clay Drive, Rocky Mount, NC 27803 (Memo: World Race Mission Trip).

I understand that this takes an act of faith on the part of my potential donors but you will not be disappointed!  When The World Race setup this blog, I vowed to be completely open and honest about my life in and outside of The Race.  Too often are events watered down.  Again, I vow to share my experiences as they unfold even if that requires my vulnerability.  Please, join me on this journey.  Thank you and God Bless y’all!
