I came up with this list at the beginning of the summer when I was trying to figure out whether I should stay at Ohio State or take some time off. I had over two years worth of classes, but no real progress towards a degree. Everyone kept telling me, “Its okay if you don’t know what you want to do,” or, “I knew someone who changed their major x amount of times and now they work for cool company y.” I appreciated the comments, but things just weren’t working. After a few frustrating years, I began to wonder if God wanted me elsewhere. Sometimes God nudges us in painful ways. From the processing error that meant my Buckeye football ticket order didn’t go through to the seemingly perfect housing situation that didn’t work out I now see that God had other plans. At the time these were major frustrations, but looking back, I was being given freedom. Freedom from a year long housing lease, freedom from any obligation to OSU, freedom to spend 11 months doing something meaningful with awesome people!
Now you know a little bit about me. I look forward to getting to know everyone!
