It is day number 123 on the Race and month four is now complete. We are now in Bucharest, Romania for our four day debrief and before I tell you about what I will be doing this month, I want to tell you about our travel.
Before leaving for Romania we were told that we would be traveling on a bus through Macedonia and Bulgaria. Well, as we approached the first border crossing, we saw a sign saying “Welcome to the Republic of Kosovo”. Needless to say this threw us off a little. So, we began looking at maps to see what route our driver was taking us on. By looking at the map, it seemed fairly clear that we would continue through Kosovo to Serbia and then enter Romania by that route. Well, as we approached the next border we began to guess what country it was and to our surprise, we were crossing into Macedonia. It would be like traveling through Michigan to get to Pennsylvania. Doesn’t make much sense. After that, we had no idea what our driver was doing. So, we had fun guessing what country was next and by the time we reached Romania, we traveled through Kosovo, Macedonia and Bulgaria. Just your typical travel day on the World Race.

Following our four day debrief, my team, along with two others, will take a train to the town of Oradea, Romania which is the site of our next ministry.
This month we will be working with Caminul Felix which is a family village (for orphaned and abandoned children) and we will be doing construction work in the morning and then spending time with the children and families in the afternoons. Here is the website for the ministry:

I am excited for this month and I am interested in how this experience will compare to working in the Bolivian orphanage. I feel a real calling to this type of ministry and I can’t wait to see how God moves this month.
We have an awesome feeling about this month. Not only about the ministry, but about how God will work inside of us. Please pray that we will be bold in our faith and that we will take the time to listen to the Spirit. Pray for growth and an increasing intimacy with Him.
God Bless!
