Above is a video highlighting our time in Chepen, Peru. Below is information and photos regarding our recent travel week. I know that there is a lot of information in this blog so I apologize for the length of it.
We began our long days of travel on Saturday. We left Chepen, Peru and traveled 2 and a half hours to Trujillo, Peru where we met the other teams. We stayed at a local church for about 5 hours and then boarded another bus and traveled another 9 hours to Lima, Peru.
We spent most of the day in Lima walking around the city and enjoying some American food. I bought some donuts at Dunkin’ Donuts and then we ate lunch at Chili’s. It was all SO good and it was a nice treat for us.
We left Lima around 3pm for a 17 and a half hour bus ride to Arequipa, Peru. We then waited around the bus station there for another 6 hours before leaving for Puno, Peru (Lake Titicaca). After another 4 hours we arrived at our hostel in Puno.

We spent the next day touring the city and taking a boat out onto Lake Titicaca. We learned a little about the Incan culture and had fun dressing up into the local garb.

We left the lake on Wednesday morning and then traveled about 3 hours to the Bolivian border. We spent 2 hours at customs and then traveled another 4 and a half hours to La Paz. We spent the night in La Paz and then left at 8:00 the next morning for a 9 hour bus ride to our ministry city of Cochabamba.

We are now finally at the Bolivian Children’s home and I am very excited about what God has in store for us this month.
We also found out some exciting news on Tuesday night. We were told that we will be traveling to Albania and Romania in Eastern Europe. We are all excited to finally know where we will be going in Europe.
God Bless!
