It is a time for change for me and my teammates on the World Race. We recently went through team changes and I am now with six new people. I will miss my former teammates and all of the memories that we shared.  Not only do we have new teams, but we will also be going to a new culture and continent.  It’s almost like a whole new race now but we will be taking all that we have learned to the next phase of our journey.

With that being said, I am extremely excited about my new teammates! I look forward to what God has in store for us as a team.  Here they are:

Our team name is Team Lionhearted. Lionhearted is defined as:

Adj. 1. lionhearted – extraordinarily courageous

brave, courageous – possessing or displaying courage; able to face and deal with danger or fear without flinching; “a frank courageous heart…triumphed over pain”- William Wordsworth; ” set a courageous example by leading them safely into and out of enemy-held territory”

We chose this name because we want to be courageous for the Lord and be bold in our faith. We want to enter these nations with victory on our mind and take back what is God’s.

“With God we will gain the victory, and he will trample down our enemies.” – Psalm 60:12

We leave for Albania late tonight (around 2:30am October 12) and will have stops in Miami and NYC before flying to Istanbul, Turkey and then on to Tirana, Albania.  We should arrive in Albania on Friday (Gotta love the week long travel!).
