ZERO DAYS LEFT. It is finally hitting me. I have no more time with my whole family for the next year. I feel as ready as one can be, however I also have no idea what this next year holds in store. I have felt so loved and encouraged by sweet times with friends and fam these past couple months, which makes leaving all of you just that much harder.
I am excited for what will most likely be the biggest challenge of my life, and very aware of the sacrifice I’m making by leaving everything else behind. It’s definitely easier to appreciate and say “go for it” when someone else is doing the sacrificing. I also consider it to be the biggest blessing from God, that we can now present ourselves as living sacrifices!
Stoked that I was able to find out that my team will be serving in the city of Johannesburg in South Africa! We will be working with the organization Impact Africa. To give you a little overview, the organization has five areas of focus: Impact Kids Preschool, The Impact Baby Rescue, Impact Mission Adventures, Impact Students, and the Missions Experience Program. We have no idea where we will be placed as of now, but we are pumped to see how God will use us.
Reflecting on the past couple months has me filled with gratitude for the people and places the Lord has put in my life. So thankful for the incredible times, and only wish there could have been more before I left. Know that your support means more to me than I can adequately put into words. This mission would truly not be possible without all of you supporting me with your prayers and financially.
