Hi! I was born and raised in San Jose, California, until I moved to San Luis Obispo to study Computer Science Cal Poly SLO. I am a 23 year-old graduate and will be working part-time while fundraising for the World Race!
I consider myself a VERY social person and absolutely love meeting people and getting to know them and their stories! In addition to being a huge people person, I am also a biggg activities guy, which usually manifests itself in the form of sports, however I also love the outdoors, or even a classic board/card game! I played basketball, football, and volleyball in high school, and have yet to find a sport that I don’t enjoy!
One thing most people don’t know about me is that while I am an extrovert, I also love my time alone, as I used to be/ still am a big reader, with book interests ranging from theology to adventure or even sports fiction.
The process of deciding to go on the World Race was pretty crazy and involved a lot of prayer, but in the end it came down to two things. I had to obey God’s call to GO, and I found God putting The World Race specifically on my heart (vs. some other organizations I was considering). While the journey itself feels far off, I am super excited to see what God has in store for me and my squad through this opportunity.
