I am so so smitten…….
Like seriously…. I get to be in the best place in the world….I've got this God….who's called me to be His bride…and so I'm constantly pursued by His love that knows no bounds….and yet on the other hand… God carries these certain womanly characteristics and one of those is that He just loves being pursued and I get to do it! And just like a woman…. He's got these great ways of attracting you….
Guys know what I'm talking about when I say that when you're attracted to a girl you memorize everything about her: her smile, her laugh, her voice, her smell….. I can remember someone forever by their aroma, and when it's that of a girl I'm head over heels for, I can be walking through the grocery store months later, smell that smell, and my head immediately whips up and looks around as my heart jumps in anticipation and hope that it's her! It's these little things that ladies use to their advantage and suddenly us guys will follow them to the ends of the earth just to experience it even more!
God's got an aroma…. He's got a way of giving you that certain feeling, and that certain encounter when you experience Him that it can be months or even years before you feel again but once you've tasted it, you'll do anything to get it again! Taste and see that the Lord is good!
Point being…. I'm so addicted to that aroma….I'm so passionate for pursuing this lover and making Him feel like the most loved, appreciated, respected, and honored being in the universe. He's got to be mine! I love Him, and I'm constantly so blessed by His constant pouring out upon me! I mean just look at the gifts He sends my way! People get so afraid of going at God with a wish list but like….if you truly understood the manor of relationship we have with Him…. He doesn't give out of obligation, He gives out of desire to bless, just like if I were to want to give flowers to the girl of my dreams. Never because I have to do it, but because I want to make her feel like the most special creation in existance! When you come to Him as a lover, ooooooooh the wonderful things He has for us!
Let me give you an example…. Here's a whooooooole list of joy verses in the bible for you to own and then actually….go out and be joyful with! People get so upset when you laugh in the church and it's like what….? Jesus was the most joyful person in the world, and He called us to be christlike in nature! Look what I'm experiencing! How could I not be joyful???? Anyways….I digress….the list! Be blessed!!!
- Provers 17:22: A joyful heart is good medicine
- Psalm 126:2: Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with shouts of joy; then they said among the nations, "The Lord has done great things for them."
- Job 8:21 He will yet fill your mouth with laughter, and your lips with shouting.
- Ecclesiastes 3:4: A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance
- Psalm 2:4: He who sits in teh heavens laughs
- Psalm 32:11: Be glad in teh Lord, and rejoice, O righteous, and shout for joy, all you upright in heart!
- Genesis 21:6: And Sarah said, "God has made laughter for me; everyone who hears will laugh over me."

- Psalm 47:1: To the choirmeaster. A psalm of the sons of korah. Clap yoru hands, all peaples! Shout to God with loud songs of joy!
- Habakkuk 3:18: Yet I will rejoice in teh Lord; I will take joy in the God of my salvation.
