This month has been so good! The people of Kosovo are amazing and God is showing me great things about His Kingdom.

Here in Kosovo, I have the opportunity to be in the middle of some crazy spiritual things. It’s Ramadan this month and so 5 times every day, I hear the Muslim call to prayer from the loud speakers at the Mosques…and there’s several of them just in our town.

It’s crazy how something so simple can be such a powerful tool used by the enemy. It reminds me of propaganda radio from WWII, simply aimed at messing with people’s heads and brainwashing them to think what you tell them to think. Over and over they play the same messages, “Allah is greatest, there is no god but Allah, Muhammed is the messenger of Allah…” Lies each time. So I’ve been using those calls of prayer as a trigger to pray myself. I’m asking the Lord to make himself known here, to break the chains of Islam in this nation and the world, and open the eyes of the people so they can see the truth.

Right now, we can practice Christianity openly in the town, but we were told not to speak poorly about Islam. Locals are afraid of what will happen if they say that the Islamic religion is not the right religion. A person could be beat or worse…simply for speaking the truth.

I can literally feel a dark presence as I’m here. Praying without ceasing has become a much more needed habit than it was back home.

Some days it’s hard to walk down the street because I see the people that God loves, locked in chains. I see God’s love for them and it breaks my heart that they’re so deceived. So, I keep praying. I keep talking to people. I keep believing that God will send more workers to carry His love into the hearts of the wonderful people here.

2 Peter 3:9 – The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

Each morning as I pray for the people here in Kosovo, I pray this verse. I know that God wants to save everyone. Jesus wasn’t a ransom for the elect, he was the payment for everyone. What great news! Even in a place where people are so lost, God is at work because He wants everyone to know the salvation of Christ Jesus!

As this month is quickly closing, I wanted to share some photos from my life here. Please keep praying for my team and I as we finish our time in Kosovo. Nine days is enough time for God to do some amazing things! We’re not done yet!
