“Thus out of small beginnings greater things have been produced by His hand… and, as one small candle may light a thousand, so the light here kindled hath shone unto many, yea in some sort to a whole nation.”   –William Bradford

Oh, trust me, I do not claim to be of any great significance. I truly have no idea what God may use me for on this trip. But I know I can be a light, a single flame in a world of darkness, with the hope of the message of the Gospel, through word where allowed or through deed where not, and perhaps this single flame that I hold may be used to ignite the hearts of one, after the other, after the other, and their single flames may be used to change a nation.

Eleven countries in eleven months, this is the invitation I have received. A missions adventure, baring my soul to the world. Missions has always been a deep passion of my heart. I didn’t know how God would use it… I’m still waiting to fully discover His plan. But I have this opportunity before me to visit these eleven different countries: Indonesia, Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Turkey, Greece, Morocco, Tibet/Chine, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Georgia.

These countries represent the 10/40 window, the most unreached area in the world. Out of 4.75 billion people living in this region, most have never been exposed to the Gospel. We will travel with a group of thirty from Adventures in Missions (www.adventures.org) to reach out, serve, and live out the Gospel every day, in every encounter.

I don’t know what my expectations are, but I want to see what God can do with someone who’s willing, what He can do through me if I’m willing. This trip will leave in January, just a few short months away and I have the task of raising over $17,000 in support. I don’t know how this will be accomplished because it seems completely insurmountable to me, but I am just walking it out one step at a time, by faith, letting God lead and make a way.

I’m humbled, a bit nervous, overwhelmed, still in shock, but truly excited to step into this new journey in my life. I would love for you to be a part of this with me and share in this experience, and if you feel so led, I would be entirely grateful for any financial or prayer support you might be able to offer. All for the glory of God!

Sincerely,

Jeanne Roeser
