THIS IS IMPORTANT!
I know
that I’ve been asking you to support me all year, but now I need your help more
than ever to keep our family together. I have 5 squadmates that are in
danger of going home due to a lack of financial support. If these 5
people do not meet their financial goals [the exact number varies but
all are around $2,000] by September 30th [that’s 20 days from now] then they will have to get on a plane
and fly back to America.
These people are essential to my family
and I cannot finish the last leg of the Race without
them! They have been by my side while I was broken and when I was
filled with joy. They’ve been with me when I laughed and when I
cried. They’ve seen me at my best, worst, and everything in between.
They have made impacts on my life that I will never forget and not
having them with me for the last 2 months of the Race is….well it is
not an option.
Just so you know how dead
serious our
squad is about keeping our family together, we have decided to do more
than just write blogs about this need. We have all signed up to be
intentionally and faithfully praying for all of our brothers or sisters in
need. And in an effort to take a big leap of faith, we’re putting our
money where our mouths are. Yep, all 51 people [including the 5 in need
of this miracle] have chosen to make a financial donation to help keep
everyone together.
That’s 51 unemployed
volunteer missionaries stepping up because we
believe so
much in what God is doing in this group
together.
