A couple of Sundays ago I had to opportunity to speak to a
group of Czech middle school students about The World Race and what God has
been doing on this trip. Prior to
me sharing, the Sunday School teacher taught about prayer and how important
prayer is to our daily lives.
Prayer is one thing that God has used in mighty ways this year. The prayers I pray, those of my
teammates, squadmates, supporters and family have meant so much. God hears us when we cry out to
him. He w
ants to us to talk to him
about everything, not to just come to him when we are in need, but all the
time.
After I got finished showing photos, videos and speaking
about all that God has been doing this year, the teacher asked if I would come
to the middle of the room so they could lay hands on me and pray. It was one of the most special moments
on the World Race. I didn’t
understand what these students were saying since they were speaking their
native language, but it was beautiful.
No matter what language you speak, cry out to God. Do you hear Him? He’s answering…..you just have to
listen.
