Hey Everyone! My name is Jeanine Stewart and I am so excited to share with you that I will be going on the World race Gap year missions trip in 2020-2021!!! Me and my squad will be traveling to Ethiopia, eSwatini, and Cambodia to bring new hope to children orphaned by the HIV/AIDS epidemic, care for the elderly, and reach out to the community. I am beyond grateful that God has given me the opportunity to share what he has done in my life and that I’m able to sacrifice 9 months to completely serve him!
It might seem crazy to you that I’m leaving the comforts of my home and my daily routine to go somewhere completely unfamiliar but to me it’s what I’ve been yearning to do my whole life. I’ve always wanted to travel the world to meet new people and experience different cultures. When I discovered Jesus traveling the world had a whole new meaning. I can’t contain how amazing the Lord has been to me and how he completely changed my life. My purpose now is to evangelize and bring people from all nations to know Jesus and the hope he has to offer.
I discovered World race when I was pondering on things to do after high school. I knew I didn’t want to jump into college life right away and I needed To pursue God‘s calling on my life. I discovered their gap year program and the holy spirit guided me to chose route 3. The page for route 3 said “Do you feel called to serve at-risk kids?” When I saw this God put it in my heart that this was my route and I didn’t even have to look at the others. I immediately signed up for this trip because I knew this is what God was calling me to do and I didn’t want to leave room for the enemy to discourage me from listening to Jesus.
At first I struggled with the idea of raising 15,800 dollars but I had to keep reassuring myself that if this is God’s will for me then he will provide. I constantly remind myself that all money is God‘s money. While I prepare for this life changing journey I am asking you to support me through prayer or finances. If you feel that God is calling you to support me financially, I encourage you to pray for God to reveal where you should invest and how much. There will be many different opportunities to donate as I move along on my fundraising journey but you can always donate right here on my website! Any amount is going to help me reach my goal and I appreciate everything and anything you are willing to give. God is amazing and I can‘t wait for you to help me on this incredible journey and bring people to JESUS!!!!
