As of now our team has been in Nelspruit, South Africa since Tuesday night.
Since we have been in Africa the teams have been given more freedom to be guided in prayer as to where we would spend our three months serving in Africa. We were in Swaziland, Mozambique(Molly and I ) and now in S. Africa.
The only direction we knew thus far was to head to S. Africa. We needed to have our team debit card sent to us(since it was stolen), and to get other things done(like access to hi-speed internet 🙂 ) It has been a really nice refreshing time.
Since then I have been to Kruger Safari Park, blogged alot, watched a movie, had great quiet and listening times with God, and have had great fellowship and worship time at a home church we visited with Mike and Lynn.
Our team is really wanting to be spirit led and to hear the voice of God, so every morning since we left, we have been setting time aside to ATL it(Ask the Lord) where we should go next. We have all felt that our direction is to bathe ourselves in prayer, worship, praise, and intimacy with the Lord. We have felt that it is His presence that He wants us to experience more of, so we have been setting time aside to do so. And so far no further direction on where to go, but that He is just enjoying this time with us.
So in the next day or so we as a team are going to enter into 3 days of prayer, solitude and fasting. We are anticipating to see, hear and feel more of His vioce and presence.
Please lift us in prayer during this time. We truly want to have our hearts, mind and spirits clear during this, so that we can truly be filled and blessed by Him.
I can’t wait to see and share what He does and reveals to us. Hopefully by the end of the week we will be able to answer “Where in the World?” our next destination will be.
