The final continent is here!!! Central America here we are…Costa Rica… Panama…Guatemala? … Nicaragua.
Our teams’ heart is ready and expecting great things from these last months of ministry.
We have been here in San Jose, Costa Rica for almost a week… debriefing, praying, unifying as a squad and catching up on sleep. (The time change surely wiped us out J). We are at a WYAM base and really enjoying our time.
Over the past days we as a team/squad have been seeking the heart of God on the direction of where He wants us. Some teams have had some direction while others are feeling that we are to continue to be together as a squad (which we haven’t done yet), stay around San Jose and do ministry opportunities around there with mixed teams while continuing to connect with the community around here.
Three of my teammates Aaron, Seth and Traday went on a venture to Limon, a city on the East Coast to scope out some ministry opportunities. We know that “ministry” can be anything. Our heart for this time is to seek God daily and ask Him for guidance. So this is the adventure…going out in faith, obedience, and trusting Him to show us where to go, who to speak to, pray with and help.
Please continue to keep us in prayer during this process but also for the rest of our journey. We don’t want any of these last months to be consumed by thoughts of “going home and the future ahead.” Our lives are here, in the present moment, to be impactful and impacted by God’s direction.
The question still remains… Where in Costa Rica?
