Hey friends! So when I was living among my peeps at the Birchwood Palace (which I truly miss!)We had a term that tried to culminate the census of going with the flow and moving with the changes. We thus termed the challenge as being Flexi Gumby (borrowed from my dear friend Zhela!) That term has seemed to describe most of the experience that our team has had during the weeks of training. Early on in training we (our sub team) unfortunately lost one of our team mates. Sarah B. felt that the WR wasn’t something that the Lord was calling to her now. So with our prayers and blessings she went home. As we took this news and went toward striving to rebuild unity among the 6 of us, a couple days ago another team member was pulled from our team. Becky was a soul sister and I am truly going to miss her! Please send prayers for direction and guidance on her decisions and choices for this next year.
But it is not all tears and sadness! Due to larger team numbers the consensus was to take one gal from each 8 person team and have them volunteer to come to our team. The comfort for this decision came from knowing that the gals who volunteered to switch teams did so prayerfully and guided by the Spirit. So in proclamation I am proud to say we are now a team of 7! We are also no longer nameless. So drum role please!………… I am excited to announce Team IGNITE.

We pray that these changes aren’t a continous foreshadowing of what God has for us but at the same time striving toward trust and following the Gumby model. We however are striving toward igniting peoples hearts for the Lord and being ignited by His power, spirit and love for this upcoming year.
