First I want to apologize for not keeping up with my blogging. I am very thankful to everyone who has supported me and I want to make it a priority to keep everyone up to date with what’s going on with me here on the World Race.
So im here in Guatemala and sometimes I still can’t believe that this is my life. Did I really just quit my job, sell all of my belongings, move out of my apartment to leave the country to head around the world for 11 months?…………….
Yup, I guess I did do that. Lol All for the purpose of Christ, to know him, and to make Him known.
So what’s been going on up until now?
Currently, my squad is staying in Quiche, Guatemala on a hospital camp base. All 56 of us are experiencing this first month of ministry together. We are broken up in teams and sent out to various sites every day to do a multitude of things from working in orphanages, schools, painting a hospital and construction. I was a little hesitant when I found out our entire squad would be spending the first month together but I must say its been kind of nice. Ive enjoyed spending time getting to know my squad mates this month and I think im going to really miss them when we separate next month.
Its crazy to think that our time here is half way done and soon we will be going to the next country. I ask that everyone keep me in prayer. Ive been sick the past few days with a upper respitory infection and some type of 24 hour flu bug causing me to be nauseous. I am much better now but still very congested and weak, so I ask that you pray for my strength and quick recovery.
Also pray for my team Tikkum Olum to continue to grow in Christ
Love you all
