Training camp just a few weeks ago was an amazing time of revitalization and awakening. During the first part of the week we were blessed to be led in worship by Jonathan and Melissa Helser, a couple whose passion for Jesus melted our hearts and ignited our souls. One of the first songs we ever sang together was "You're Never Giving Up".
It is a song that still resonates with me to this day because it expresses the unrelenting love of God, who continues to pursue me despite my sin, my past, or my failures. I am in relationship with a Bridegroom whose love never fails, never ceases, and never ends. For He is a lovesick God who is never giving up on me, the widow, the orphan, the prostitute, the politician, the beggar, the businessman, the soldier, the addict, the murder, the leper, the lawyer, the pastor, or even you!
We have a Savior who will never stop chasing our souls with an unbridled, unhindered, and unashamed love.
