Hey Everyone!
I just wanted to encourage all of you with an amazing story that happened just a week ago with a friend and I when we went out to evangelize and sell some bracelets to help raise money for my mission trip. It was truly an extraordinary experience, where we witnessed the POWER and LOVE of God touch people in a tangible way.
We went to an outdoor shopping area in Kansas City, MO known as the Plaza, which looks like a small town full of Spanish villas. So my friend and I sat out a table, posted a sign with "Bracelets $2" on one side and "Free Spiritual Cleansing" on the other, and then put out the bracelets to start selling. The next 4 hours was an amazing time of God encounter after God encounter. We saw multiple peoples' legs grow, backs and ribs get healed, knee and foot pain taken away, and complete mobility to someone's shoulder restored.
We would get groups of 5-10 people gathering around us spontaneously and then see God manifest His presence. We prayed for people with alcoholism, depression, and anxiety; and afterward they would say that they felt something lift and that they were lighter. Towards the end there was a black girl in her teens who passed us and asked us what we we're doing, and instead of answering her, I simply asked her back, "You want to find out? Come here. Would you like to know what God thinks about you?" So she walked up slowly and I placed my hand on her shoulder and simply told her what the Lord thought of her. I told her that she was a dancer and that she felt like she was running from something, but that the Father loves her and was chasing after her. She was so astonished that she got 3 of her friends and then they all wanted to be prophesied over.
So I did one after another and then finally told the last one that she was a mother and had unforgiveness towards a male figure in her life because of something he had done. She seemed deeply touched and then ended up going inside to a store, when all of a sudden she came back out moments later asking, "Did God tell you anything else?" At that moment I knew God was pulling on her heart.
All the while during this time of prophecy there was another women in her mid-40s who was standing towards the side, watching us intently. She was also a follower of Christ and even said that she hears the Lord audibly. When the girl who came back to ask if God had anything else to say this woman of God stepped in, embraced her, spoke life into her, and ended up leading her through a prayer of salvation. Praise Jesus! It was so incredible to watch all of this unfold, and afterward the lady in her mid-40s told my friend and I that she overheard us in the beginning, and God told her to sit back and observe what we were doing because He was moving and working through us. It was such a huge encouragement to hear those words and know that the Lord desires to flow through us and bring about His Kingdom.
It was such an amazing evening of seeing people encounter the God who loves them. We saw healings, deliverances, and a salvation. My friend and I went out with the intent of bringing the Kingdom of Heaven to earth, and that is exactly what happened. I just want to encourage all of you that this stuff is real, tangible, and active today. And anyone with the Holy Spirit living inside them can do it — That includes YOU!
