Earlier today I was going around my church passing out support letters just feeling fed up. Fundraising is actually really hard, and really awkward. This morning I was thinking on how I can work two jobs and just pay for this trip myself, but paying for this trip all on my own is not the point. The point on fundraising is to step out of your comfort zone, to have trust in God. Fast forward 8 hour later, Im Face timing with some of the members of my squad. I realize that I love them all so dearly and they understand/ are going through the exact same thing I am- worry. Mind you that we have never met each other but we talk about love, fears, and our past. This sense of a family is exactly what I needed to hear today during a time of being feed up. So this is a thank you to the members of my squad, but also to the people who made me step out of my comfort zone- forcing me to learn to trust.
