Whuddup y’all!!
As most of you know, I just got home from training camp a couple days ago! So I’m here to give you a little snippet of what I took hold of in the 10 days I was there!!
To sum training camp up in one word:clarity.
Ever since I started the whole WorldRace process I have had complete and utter peace about the entire thing. This is what I am supposed to be doing and God has proven that to me time and time again when I or anyone around me has questioned it.
When Jesus was fixing to be crucified He cried out to God and said “if it is possible for this cup to pass by me, let it pass. but let Your will be done, not my own.” He was scared about what God was calling Him to do. He was saying “God, You are calling me to do something that I totally, absolutely do not want to do, but if this is Your will then let’s do it.” He was saying, “I don’t care how my heart feels, I am going to live my life according to Your will and Your way because You are higher. You are the King of kings and the Lord of lords. My faith and trust is in You, not in the way that I feel.”
Jesus had a YES in His spirit!!!!!!!
God gives everyone a different “cup.” My cup doesn’t look like yours, and yours doesn’t look like mine; each are completely unique in their own, specific, God-ordained way. It seems like more often than not, we tend to say the “if it is possible for this cup to pass by me, let it pass” and forget the “Your will and not my will” part. Faith is an action, not a feeling. 9x out of 10, the things God is calling us to do are not going to be things our human flesh will actually want to do. He calls us out of our comfort zones, against our feelings. But the wild thing is, is that if you are doing God’s work, you get to take His peace with you !! Even though things look dark and you can’t see the light at the end of the tunnel, we get to carry around this God-instilled hope. this hope known by faith, not by sight!!
& so, yeah!! I pray you peeps choose to be obedient to what God is calling you to do!! & know that you get the privilege of carrying around a peace that surpasses ALL understanding!! & remember that through Him, you are capable of fulfilling the task that God has filled your cup with!
