thanksgiving!
first thanksgiving away from home…EVER!
give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever. 1 Chronicles 16:34
give thanks for He is GOOD.
He IS good.
i can’t help but compare last thanksgiving to this one. last thanksgiving was a time of confusion as to why God had me where He had me & this thanksgiving is a time of true thanks and celebration for why God had me where He had me! 🙂
i never really thought i’d say this but i am thankful for kansas city.
thankful that the Lord would care so much about me that He’d put me through such challenge and heartache. thankful that He never leaves me nor forsakes me. thankful that He is so good at bringing such glorious light out of such seemingly dark places. thankful for His grand scheme. thankful that He allows me to be apart of it.
thankful for His sovereignty. thankful for His omnipotence. thankful that He holds my life. thankful that He cares. thankful for His sacrifice. thankful for His call. thankful for His character. thankful for His ways that are so much higher than mine. thankful that He is my Father. my comfort. my everything.
thankful for how much revelation the Lord has given me. revelation on the fact that i am home for thanksgiving. i’m home every second of everyday because my home resides in Him. not in oklahoma. not in kansas city. not in any human or in any building. my home is where my Father is.
thank you all for loving me! thank you for all your amazing support! thank you for your prayers!!
