This morning as we left from the lake, we were cruisin around headed for Erdenet. Stopped once for gas about a couple hours down the road. All is good, right? Load back up in the bus a little under 4 hours away, we decided to stop for lunch. As we stopped, there was a loud thump… whats wrong?? We don’t know. These 3 or 4 guys have been constantly working all afternoon trying to fix it. Even as lunch is done. Out in the middle of nowhere, few cars pass by here and there. Then all the sudden… shouting and running starts happening. The jack slipped while two men were under the bus. People praying, lifting, pushing, do everything we could to get them out. To the glory of God, they are out safe back working in it again.
As I sit here and thank about what happened, we can all think about our lives. Personally, I have felt so low at times that no matter how much I prayed, lifted, pulled, or pushed I felt like I was getting nowhere. But God is always there with us (think about the footprint poem). We think everything is going swell in our lives then boom… Satan throws a wrench at us to distract us. People in our lives get hurt or we may get hurt. But we shouldn’t wait until rock bottom before we put our focus on God. Don’t let the hard times distract you or be your only excuse to come to God. He is waiting for us to talk with him. You, as well as myself, needs to be still and listen to wait he is telling us.
P.S. we aren’t actually stranded!
