Well hello again!

It has been a week since the last update from India, but let me just say, it has been quite eventful. Last weekend, being our first weekend in India, we all just hung out and did some general house keeping chores. The team that is working close to the city came in for the weekend but half of them were sick. One of their members ended up going to the hospital. He is healed and their team is back in the village.

On Monday our squad leaders left us to go out and join the teams in the villages. Monday we also had a little trouble at the orphanage. When we went into the boys room where we were working, we found that the nurses had not changed the boys diapers, bathed them or changed their bed sheets since Saturday when we were there last. Naturally this broke our hearts to see people being treated that way. So we took it upon ourselves to buy soap and bath the boys and get new bed sheets, clothes and of course diapers. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday were all pretty normal days. We moved from the older boys room to the mobile girls room at the orphanage. Each room comes with its own set of challenges, but God never gives you more than you can handle.

Ever since we got to India I have been struggling with God about Him showing me the name Daniel and what it is supposed to mean to me. On Thursday night the two teams living here had worship on the roof of the building and washed each others feet and prophesied over each other. That night I had two people who felt lead to was my feet and speak over me. Through them God made himself clear in what direction He is going with the whole Daniel thing. Definition is not yet complete but the beginning of the revelation has begun.

Friday, the other gentleman on my team lost his passport! Just imagine the time you lost something important to you, then multiply it by ten, and that is the situation we are in. He and our leader were going to take the 10 hour buss ride to Hyderabad today to go to the US consulate tomorrow to get a new passport, but of course whatever we plan on during this trip God makes his plans and reveals them at generally the most "convenient" times. So after tickets were bought and plans were made, we get a phone call at supper last night telling us that Phillip and I have to go to Hyderabad. So here I am, last minute trying to pack and get all the logistics worked out so I can live in Hyderabad for the next 10 days. It doesn't help that Phillip and I both have some sort of stomach thing going on today. We will be praying for God to reach down and heal us both by the time our 11:15 bus shows up.

As He leads me,
Jason
