Hey everyone!!
Week one in India is complete! Today is our day off, so of course there is a little house keeping that needs to be done. But let me give you a little run down of what has been going on this week. We arrived on Monday and met our contacts and had some awesome pastries from the random french bakery owned by the texan here in India. Tuesday we visited the three homes where the children who are a part of Sarah's Covenant Home live. We also got our room assignment for the first three days at Victory home, we would be in the immobile girls room for the first three days. We started work on wednesday and spent most of that day just loving on all the special needs kids. Thursday was more of the same. Friday however was quite unique. Angelique was led by the spirit to witness to us that one of the little girls was being controlled by a demon which was keeping her ill. Now of course being day 3 of ministry and being week one of month one on the race we all thought this was a little insane, but we all agreed to be obedient to God and His commands. Therefore we spent the next 4 hours praying over this little girl and filling her with the spirit. Just before lunch she threw up what was left of the demon and began laughing and dancing and even started walking with our assistance. It was amazing to see something like that happen in front of my own eyes! Yesterday we moved to the boys room where conditions are not favorable and the nurses, called Ehays, are not very caring. So we have quite a challenge by the time we leave that room on tuesday. Today is our day off, so we will all be relaxing today. Well, time to get started on some house keeping items.
