Training camp is 10 days away!! I am so excited. At training camp I will meet my squad mates and get more details about the trip! Soooo next Saturday, July 24- Aug 1, I will be going to Georgia to prep for the big adventure starting in September!
To update everyone on my support raising I have raised a little over $2000 so far! The awesome thing is that once I raise $10,000 I have someone, Apostle Price and Dr. Betty Price, who are willing to pay for the rest of the costs!!!! So all i need to raise now is $8000! Praise God!
This past monday I was able to share my vision and my heart for this coming year on a local radio station called Radio Zion. It was a really awesome and fun experience. The only thing is it’s a spanish radio station and sad to say, but I’m not fluent in Spanish lol. That’s ok, they want me to come back once the trip is over to talk about my experience abroad. Gloria a Dios! And by then I expect to speak a lot better, despite the fact that I won’t be going to any Latin American countries lol.
Support raising is definitely a humbling experience and an amazing opportunity for me to grow in my relationship with God. One of many verses that has been sustaining me lately is 2 Cor 5:7 – For we walk by faith not by sight. I know in my heart that the world race is where God is leading me and I have full faith that He will provide. He is Jehovah Jirah my provider.
My quiet times with the Lord has been amazing. Honestly, there were frustrating times where I just cried out to God. I know that I can’t raise all this money on my own, but with God’s help nothing is impossible! I feel him comforting me and telling me ” I am right here my child, The funds will come. But take action on your faith and be bold in
