This month was much different than last month.

There was a lot more down time than in Bulgaria.

We lived in a compound that is owned by Lightforce International.

The point of this place is to bring camps in from various organizations/churches or really anything.

Giving them the use of the compound for the camps and spreading the Love of God through the work they do.

On sight there is a soccer field, rock climbing wall, obstacle course, pool, and archery. There is also a pig farm that helps to make this a self-sufficient place.

So the first week…

A group of Peace corp. folks from the US brought in a bunch of Albanians to teach them about environmentalism. It was an interesting week, because the things we take for common knowledge in the states, is absolutely not here. One thing I learned quickly this month, is that the ministry here is not one that spreads the Gospel through words as much as through the actions of those working here. We were able to make an impact on certain people by just making their lives easier by what we did to help. Although we don’t see the impact we had, we pray that we planted and/or watered seeds that will flourish into dependence on the Lord.

The second week was…

A group of Baptists that came for a retreat type event. This was cool to see. They bring certain individuals throughout their communities in order to show them the Gospel and teach them truth. I spoke to the leader a little bit to find out he was originally from Northern Illinois, not more than a few hours from me.

The third week (roughly)…

We spent time cleaning and lime washing the entire complex. Every white wall needed to be white washed every day; including the walls in all the pig pens…

Some people also always worked in the kitchen. And were posted as guards to let people in and out of the gate.

And throughout all these weeks, there was a group helping in the pig pens every day.

Anyway, from all these things. I learned new ways to do ministry. There is ministry where you make a visible difference, like working with your hands or having people saved every day. Its all great! However times like this month, when your ministry isn’t as obvious, the ministry is in fact, just maintaining what the ministry before has done. By us being here and working with the things we do, not only made it look nice for the camps that come in, but also enabled God to work in the lives of those we work for, as well as our lives.

This month has overall been a fantastic one with the whole squad here and I was able to learn more about the Lord, the lives of my squadmates and how best to serve each.

Next month, I will be staying in a small village in Moldova, working with a Catholic Priest and staying in a convent. It will be an interesting new outlook on what different cultures are like. As far as I know there will be a great opportunity to do childrens ministry and various outreach to the community.

As far as posting.. they will be few and far between. I will not have any wifi unless I travel to the capital. So I apologize for that. there is no wifi anywhere in the village that I know of.

And so because of that. I will tell you now, I am still in need of donations. I need to reach $11000 by the end of this next month. I am currently at $9100. So I still need $1900! If you feel led at all to give, everything is appreciated and counted as a blessing. You guys are amazing. And I feel so extremely blessed that I’m able to share in this journey with you!

So THANK YOU!!!!!!!

P.S.

I will also be posting a video from this month as soon as I possibly can. I am currently working on it and will finish it. So be prepared to see a video from the month!

Thank you all for your prayers and support!

 P.S.S.

Ill post pictures to this at a later date so be ready for that as well!
