Hey all! Thank you for all the reading and praying you have done on my blog!
You guys rock! I just have a quick update to let everyone know what is going on and what will happen while I am in China.
China was the reason I went on the race. China is the country I have been excited for the most and the one that has drawn me in from all the stories of the missionaries who have been there before.
Going to other ones has been phenomenal and I wish to go back to them as well, but none has drawn me to them before I was even there like China has.
There was a lot of trouble getting the Visas to go there but in the end, we received them. Not only that, but we applied for the 30 day visas like we normally do in each country, and by the Lord’s grace, they supplied us with 10 YEAR VISAS! So we are cleared to go to the country until 2025! Praise God!
So having said all this, and having the very real possibility of going back one day, here’s what is going to happen while I’m in the country.
We have received our visas as TOURISTS. Nothing can be seen that makes that appearance seem unreal.
Soo….
First: All my social media will be SHUT DOWN. My Facebook and Instagram will be non-existent during this time.
Second: My blog will have a password: 9382082119 you will need to enter this password in order to view my blog.
Third: If you wish to be emailed updates while I am in China email me: [email protected] -If you email me, say NOTHING about Christianity, Missions, Churches nor anything else that can lead people to believe we are there for anything but Tourism.
Fourth: I cannot tell you where we will be. For the safety of our contacts and to keep the appearance up.
So now having said all this, please be in prayer that everything goes well for all of us there, and pray that hearts are opened and not hardened towards the Gospel! And pray for protection of everyone here and continue to pray as we are there. And for those of you whom may have conflicted feelings about all this, remember Psalm 18:1-6…16-18
“I love You, LORD, my strength The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. He rescued me from my powerful enemy, From my foes, who were too strong for me. They confronted me in the day of my disaster, but the LORD was my support.”
