I’ve never heard the audible voice of God. God’s never really spoken to me. It’s never bothered me. But then we were in the jungle…

There, in the jungle, I felt out of place, which is strange because God created in me an adventurous spirit who loves that kind of stuff. I think I felt out of place because I felt useless or unnecessary when it came to the ministry we were doing. I was struggling, the whole time.

The last day, right before we left, eating my breakfast of rice and plantains and lemon water that definitely wasn’t filtered and probably was parasitic, I heard Him; I heard God’s voice. He said ‘This is what you’re here for’ and immediately I was flooded with thoughts from Him. He was saying that I’ve equipped you with peace and wisdom, which you’ve used to build yourself up in Me, which is great, but now I’m asking you to give that away to your team, to your squad, building them up so that they’re able to go out and do the things I’ve equipped and enabled them to do. God’s given me my purpose on this Race, to invest in the people He’s placed all around me, and to learn how to do that, investing in other believers.

Now my mind and soul are at rest, and ready for what learning and growth this new idea has to offer.

And that’s where I’m at. Thanks for reading 🙂
