Dear Women of the WR,
We’d like to invite you to attend a special retreat in the days leading up to your October Training Camp. It’s called a ‘Beautyfor Ashes’ Retreat.
This Beauty for Ashes retreat is designed to help you share your story and learn to help others share theirs. This retreat will be a place where you can begin to let go of some of the baggage that life has handed you and lay it at the feet of your Abba Father. After all, you’re going to be traveling a lot this next year…and we have found it’s better to travel light. 🙂
You are invited to join us Wednesday night, October 8th to kick off your Beauty for Ashes Retreat at the Adventures Campus. Your retreat will run all day Thursday and Friday (Oct 9-10), leading up to your Training Camp on Saturday.
This retreat isn’t meant to give you more work before Training Camp — it’s meant to give you a head start. We want to provide you with the opportunity to begin the healing that the Lord has in store for you, to bond with the women on your squad, and to to equip you to grow as a minister, not just a recipient, of ministry.
At your Beauty for Ashes Retreat, you will be served by women who have been in your shoes. We are eager to minister to you with the hope that you will then be better equipped to minister to the women you encounter on the field, the women you will be ministering with, and — sometimes the most difficult one to minister to —yourself.
This retreat is free! If you plan to attend, you will need to book your flight to arrive at the Atlanta airport by 3:30PM on Wednesday, October 8th OR arrive at the Adventures in Missions headquarters by 6:00PM. If you are interested in attending, please let your mobilizer know no later than Wednesday, September 10th.
