Hey everyone, I assume everyone has started to at least think about the fact that we need to get a pack together with everything for the next 11 months. If you’re like me, you might have even gone as far as to start looking on websites such as www.rei.com. Then at some point you will realize that you have no idea what you are actually packing for. You know we are starting off in India, but what is the weather like in India during January. Is it going to be cold or hot, wet or dry, humid or not?

Well below I have included my spreadsheet that has all of the weather information for each planned stop. Now I do have a disclaimer or two before you go out and spend hundreds of dollars on a new wardrobe.

First, we have no idea where we are going in each of these countries so although India says the temp should be between 21-86 degrees F, we might only be in the south where it is only on the top end of that range. At the same time, we might only stay in the north where it should be at the bottom of that range. Without really knowing, all we can do is plan to stay in both the north and the south. Because of that, I took the coldest and hottest temperature for the entire country and used that as the high and lows.

Finally, this is not information that I have firsthand knowledge about. I spent several hours researching this and tried to find reliable websites to help me figure this out, but I can’t guarantee that in every country the weather will stay in the parameters that are below. Now, I do have enough faith in this information that I will make my packing list from this information, but you can do with it what you wish.

Sorry for the length of this post.
