Hey Guys,

So we are done with training camp and everyone had a chance
to test out their gear.  If you are still
in need of some items please feel free to post what you need so we can point
you in the right direction to get it before we leave in two months.

Tent:

If you are in need of a great tent this is what I picked
up.  http://www.backcountrygear.com/catalog/tentdetail.cfm/BIG1039

It is a great light weight tent weighing under 3pds.  It was very easy to set up and tear down and
is very small so it packs well.  It is
higher on price then other tents but I bought all my gear with a mind set of
this is my home that I have to carry around for a year.  I am 5’10â€, 170pds and I had no problem
moving around in the tent with all my gear.

Sleeping Pad:

I know a lot of the guys from T-Squad fell in love with my
pad.  http://www.backcountrygear.com/catalog/accessdetail.cfm/EXP550

This is by far my greatest buy.  This is a solid sleeping pad and worth every
penny.  It is solid and thick.  It did not even feel like I was sleeping on
the ground.  Setup is easy.  Roll it out and open up the inflate flap.  It fills itself up.   Once it is filled close the flap and flip it
over and you are ready for bed.  To
deflate just open the deflate flap and roll the pad to push the air out.  Unroll the pad and roll up the pad really
tight this time so it will push all the air out and fit back into the bag.  The only down side to this pad is that it is
big.  I have to strap it to the bottom of
my pack which is not that big of an issue.
If you have any back issues or just like to sleep in comfort this is a
pad you should try.
