Hey Jan-racers,
I’m in need of an opinion on cold-weather apparel. Training Camp made me realize that I’m going to freeze my butt off if I’m not prepared, and we’re going to be much colder in some places than we were in the woods of Georgia!
So my question is: what is everyone packing as far as a cold weather coat or other outerwear? I can’t imagine traveling to eastern Europe in March/April without a heavy coat, but I can’t imagine packing one! I could wear it while traveling, but that’s going to be a pain and a half when it’s a hundred degrees outside.
I’m sure some of you have experience packing for stuff like this. What would you recommend? I looked at a North Face rain jacket with a zip-out fleece liner, but it was so bulky!
Any advice is welcome.
