I’m really just posting this in order to create an encouragement catagory but since I’m creating a post about encouragement I may as well follow through.
I just want to let everyone know that it’s encouraging to see how the other posts have taken on a life of their own. I’ve been reading through all of your introductions and it’s made me even more excited to meet everyone. Enthusiasm kind of jumps off the screen and I’m certain that training camp will be a blast. I haven’t gotten a chance to check out the facebook group yet but I’m looking forward to doing so very soon.
I love the insights and thoughts that people are sharing as they read through the book of Acts and I really appreciate everyone’s enthusiasm and commitment to keeping up with the posts. It’s kind of like our team came out of nowhere and I really love that. I’ve been really impressed with the comments that everyone’s leaving. If you haven’t had a chance to check them out take a moment to do so, it’s definately worth it.
If you want to join in you can start at the beginning and leave comments about the first several chapters or you can pick up where we are. We’re onto chapter 5 tomorrow.
There is already a catagory created for prayer requests and a blog inviting everyone to post their requests. Please don’t hesitate to take advantage of them. Like I keep saying, we are a team and the sooner we start to work together the better. There are few things that bring people closer together than prayer or a 14 hour car ride. 🙂
I also noticed that our financial guru is on board. I don’t know where everyone is with fundraising but I’m guessing a lot of our questions are either the same or similar. Maybe we can create a collective post with all of our questions that everyone can refer back to. Once again, it’s something to consider.
