We made it safe to Togo on Saturday evening and let’s just say that it is a true Ask The Lord (ATL) month. We still have no contacts as of right now, but spent the day praying about it and walking by faith. We went in different groups and just prayed and asked God to guide us. We have found an orphanage that might work or Mercy Ships are in Togo and we are looking into possibly partnering with them. We are living each day by faith and knowing that God will provide all that we need- I will be sure to keep you all updated when we find out any more information, but know that we are here!!!
Sometimes it does not feel like we are actually here in Togo or in Africa at times. You see- here in Togo they speak French. It is weird to hear French all around you and still be in Africa. Also, the place we are currently staying in is run by a Swiss guy and it makes me feel like I am in France- not in Africa. It is hard not knowing any French (only 3 people out of 30 of us know any French) and they do not really speak any English, but it makes for an even more crazy and fun adventure! Please be praying for us to come into contact with the ministry God has planned for us and for us to keep on walking by faith-not by sight!
