We have been in Antigua, Guatemala for launch and we now know where we are going for our ministry site this month!!! We will be leaving Antigua tomorrow and be driving to San Lucas. San Lucas is about 2 hours away and is a remote Mayan village in the Guatemalan jungle!!
Our ministry this month will be My Father’s House( www.welcometomyfathershouse.com ) with Pastor Carlos. We will be doing all sorts of different service projects, like evangelism and construction, and just building relationships with the people! We are so excited to go off and start bringing the Kingdom of God to these people! We are partnering with Team Increase this month and are excited to get to know them more and serve alongside them.
This month is going to be a real stretch for all of us- we will be living in our tents, no showers, most likely no running water, and will maybe be able to go to the next town for internet once a week. I am so excited to have my first month on the World Race at San Lucas and be living in the “bush” so to speak! Our team will be able to spend some much needed time together and I cannot wait to see how God is going to use this situation to grow us closer to Him and to each other! Please be praying for us this month for our safety and health as well as team unity! Satan is starting to attack us already, so we know that God has amazing things planned for us these next couple weeks!!
