When we were in Togo, we met some missionaries from back home and what a blessing they 
were!!!! There was a group of medical missions team along with 10 or so youth doing dramas with them and they ended having to stay a week or so later in Togo due to the Volcano in Iceland. Because of them being delayed, we were able to met them and I still do not think they know what a blessing they were to us, or at least me! These women were moms to us and encouraged us, lifted us up, and were so much like my mom back home that it was hard to say goodbye to them! They invited us over for dinner (which was the best fried chicken I have had yet, mashed potatoes, sweet tea- yum!) and just loved on us! They asked us to spend the night and went out of their way to make us comfortable! The 10 youth that were with them were amazing and included us in as a part of them- with a movie night with homemade popcorn and all! God knew that I was missing home so much this past month and since my family 
could not be brought to me, He brought family to me!!! I am convinced that God made the volcano in Iceland just for this purpose J
That night we also met another woman who has been in Togo for about 1 ½ years and was just visiting with her husband and son on their way to another city in Togo and what a blessing! Just to talk with her about our past experiences and especially in Africa and the encouragement and advice she gave us was what we needed to hear! She gave us some more food to take back and once again just loved on us!
We also met that day one of the IMB missionaries’ wife and the 2 kids who took us to dinner with the medical missions team. She was so sweet and so loving and let us use her house to change from painting and was wonderful! The next day she let the boys bake my surprise birthday cake in her oven and just loved on us some more! (I had my 23rd birthday in Nigeria, but my team surprised me with a 
homemade cake with chocolate frosting and birthday presents before we left Togo because they did not know what Nigeria would look like J And on my birthday they surprised me with more presents (Mac and cheese, popcorn, and some books!)- How loved and blessed am I to have such a wonderful team!- Love you Jubilee!).
So I was missing my mom and family and God brought 5 wonderful amazing women into my life in 1 day to show how much He loves me J
