A couple of times we have done some evangelism in the mornings and yesterday (Friday) morning God totally blew me away! The night before (Thursday) I was struggling so much with who God said I was and was doubting that I even had a role and purpose here. Since we got to Africa, Satan as been attacking my identity in Christ in a blunt way and it is to my face. I have been told since I have been here that I do not love Jesus because I do not dance and that since I do not speak in tongues that God cannot use me at all or in any mighty way and that those who do not are a disgrace to God. I know those are all lies, but satan as a way of getting in and messing with my head. I can see how God has been working in my life and has brought me so far with my identity in Him since Nicaragua. Luckily I have a wonderful team who lifted me up and prayed for me and are fighting with me!

So back to yesterday morning . . . Matthew and I went with Rev. Joseph to a nearby neighborhood while the others went with Rev. Joyce. I was thinking that Matthew should do the majority of the talking and I would be praying in the background and if God gave me anything to say I would not hesitate to say it. Well I did pray the majority of the morning but it was entirely in a different way than I had expected! I took the time to talk with these three little girls and because of once again getting out of my comfort zone, I ended up talking and praying for the majority of the family- from the great grandma all the way to those adorable grand kids and great grand kids! God just amazes me still- when we are obedient to Him, He turns around and blesses us and those around us! When we were getting ready to move on to the next house, a guy came up to me and asked for prayer. He is a soccer player and wanted to be a Ghana star soccer player- that is his dream. His dream is not coming true and because of that he has stopped believing in Jesus and no longer goes to church. I knew right then that this was another opportunity from God- you see I had been struggling with the dreams we have for our lives and those God has when we first got to Asia (click here to read that blog!). I knew exactly what God wanted me to share with him and it was amazing to be able to relate to someone and to be able to share with them what I have found out about that!

Then later on, Matthew was talking to these guys about Jesus and I went to go pray for a pregnant lady J Then I ended up sharing the gospel with her and some other ladies standing by her- all I know is that seeds were planted that day and please be praying for them! I was also able to talk with a young lady about her identity in Christ and just speak some life into her- God amazes me with how He puts people into our lives who need to hear what we have learned from what we have or are struggling with. God showed me yesterday how He uses me and how it is just in different ways than I thought or expect. He has also been showing me more of the giftings He has given me and how I can use them to further His Kindgom and for His glory!

God is at work here and He is pursing His children here!  It is so beautiful and such a blessing to be apart of it!  I still do not know why God chose me and decided to use me 🙂  but am so honored to be here and to let God use me as He wants!
