Month 2 is over and we head out to Thailand tomorrow. The guys have a month of “manistry”, where all the guys will be together and working in a remote village in North Thailand. The girls will be spread out among 3 or 4 ministry sites working with the girls in the bar/prostitution. We are not quite sure yet where we will be working and what ministry we will be working at, but all we know is that we get to truly be Jesus’ hands and feet this month. We will be building relationships with some of the girls and just show God’s love. Many of these girls do not have a choice but to work in prostitution because they have nothing else they can do. Some of their families have sent them to work in the city and they are not welcome back at home- they are there to earn money and it does not matter how. So please be keeping us in your prayers. First of all for safe travel to Thailand and that our traveling is safe and smooth and that we make all of our connections. Also be praying for:
* That our hearts would be open to these girls and we would love and see them how God does
* For our safety this month- SPIRITUALLY, physically, and emotionally
*For us to continually be putting on the Armor of God- you can bet that satan will not like us for bringing light to the darkness and will be fighting us every step of the way so we will be engaging in a lot of spiritual warfare this month and will be needing extra prayers!!!!
*For us to stay in tune with the Holy Spirit and to be listening and obeying what He is telling us to do- even if it sounds crazy or does not make sense
*For us girls to be more unified and grow closer to God and each other during this month!
Thanks for your support and prayers! I am super excited about this month and know that God will do amazing things and we will be His shining light!! This is completely out of my comfort zone in all areas, but I know that God will be able to use me even more through my weaknesses- so I cannot wait to see what God will do this month!!!
