Hi! I am Janna and am 22 years old. I was born in Texas and we moved around some during my childhood (my dad was/is in the military 🙂 ) and we finally landed in Arizona (my favorite state of all times!). I am have two wonderful parents and one older sister (who is wonderful

and I could not ask for a better sister or brother-in-law) who is married and now lives in Iowa and! I have grown up in a wonderful Christian home and have lived in Pinetop, Arizona most of my life.
I graduated from the University of Arizona (in Tucson) in May 2009 with a degree in Family Studies and Human Development- I love learning about how children develop- it reminds me of how wonderful our God is!
Ok: Here are some random facts about me that you might want to know about!
My favorite thing to do is to read! I love to read and love spending an entire afternoon just reading! I love books by Jane Austen and Cathy Marie Hake and Romans is my favorite book to read in the Bible! I love sunflowers and I love it when it rains! I also like to scrapbook and cook/bake (my favorite thing to make is chicken enchiladas).
I like to travel, but have never really traveled outside of the United States- I have been to Mexico and I was able to go to Hong Kong this past sumer to teach English to jr. highers (but other than that I have not been outside the U.S.), so I am really excited to see where the World Race takes me (spiritually, physically, etc.!).
I also love to have BIble studies and will miss leading them for college girls- but I know that God has so much more in store for me!. My last year and a half of college, I worked at a non profit Christian organization, MentorKids USA, and loved seeing God move in great ways and how the Christian community comes together to help hurting kids!
One of my favorite verses in the Bible is 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 “But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”
One last thing you might want to know is that I have a cat named Jonah Luke and I will miss him so much while I am gone!
