I don’t know what your experiences with church entail, but in this room we’ve got quite a collection of different experiences. What it boils down to is relationship with Jesus and fellowship with each other. This month we’ve been able to enjoy “Home Church” with our hosts in the outskirts of Cusco, Peru. It’s been a complete joy; an intimate and personal and joyful celebration of life and love.
This picture blog is dedicated to anyone who has been burned by the church or a church experience. Church is really what you make it. I pray you grab some friends who feel like family and give it another chance.

Communion
“Now as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and after blessing it broke it and gave it to the disciples, and said, “Take, eat; this is my body.” And he took a cup, and when he had given thanks he gave it to them, saying, “Drink of it, all of you, for this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.” –Matthew26:26-28
“This is my comfort in my affliction, that your promise gives me life.” –Psalms119:50

“But when Jesus saw it, he was indignant and said to them, “Let the children come to me; do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God. Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.” And he took them in his arms and blessed them, laying his hands on them.” –Mark10:14-16
Fellowship
“that which we have seen and heard we proclaim also to you, so that you too may have fellowship with us; and indeed our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ.” –1 John1:3
“And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.” –Acts2:42

“The Lord, the Lord, a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness, keeping steadfast love for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, but who will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children and the children’s children, to the third and the fourth generation.” –Exodus34:6-7
