To all of my faithful blog readers:
Our time in the Philippines has come to an end, and though I am sad to have left the wonderful people I came to love so much there, I am so excited to move forward into this next phase! The Lord taught me so much in the dumps of Tondo, and it’s hard to even put into words. He is showing me in greater and greater portions every day that his love for me is HUGE; it’s overwhelming. He is an ever-present God and the hope of all the nations! We as believers carry his presence with us wherever we go, and it’s our responsibility to impart beams of life into all the dark places of this world! If we would only realize the power and authority we have, the world would not look the same. You are called to be the light in the darkness in whatever corner of the world you find yourself.
The Lord is also teaching me more and more every day about my identity in him. He wants to be my everything. I am learning to capture the lies I have believed all my life and instead grab hold of the truth of who GOD says I am. Once we begin to walk into our identities as sons and daughters of the KING OF KINGS and LORD OF LORDS, we can begin to shake the very foundations of the earth. I challenge you to begin searching for the lies the enemy has made you believe all your life and instead start believing the TRUTH of who you are.
I must bid you a farewell for awhile as my squad heads off into “unchartered territories” this next month! We will not be taking our computers and will not be doing any sort of communication with the outside world during November. However, the Lord will be faithful to connect our hearts as we join together in prayer! That’s the cool part about the Holy Spirit; He can connect people even though they are thousands of miles apart!
My squad and I would truly appreciate your prayer covering as we go out into the world this month. We will be facing hard battles and will need all the prayer we can get. It’s been amazing to feel the power in your prayers so far, so thank you for that! Be asking the Lord for:
1. Our protection!
2. Our health!
3. Our unity!
3. Our unity!
4. Heightened levels of discernment and wisdom!
5. God to move SWIFTLY and POWERFULLY through us!
