I thought I just wrote a blog a week or two ago and here it is a month since I’ve given you guys an update. Well it’s T-minus 5 months until I leave…Holy Moses. I’m slowly but surely getting there on the fundraising. I know I’ve got a little coming in for sure within the next week which will put me at over $8,000 meaning I’m almost halfway there! I did a beauty pageant at my church two weeks ago and it went well. We cleared nearly $1,700! Considering I’ve never put a pageant together before and didn’t have a clue as to what I was doing… I would say that’s pretty good! I had tons of help and for those of you that helped make it happen- thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!
The next fundraiser I’ll be doing is chocolate covered strawberries and/or petit fours for $15 per dozen. The last day to order is May 9th. Pick up days are May 10th and 11th. That’s just in time for Mother’s Day which is on Sunday the 12th. Don’t worry about going shopping and trying to figure out what to get her. She wants strawberries and petit fours lol!
Coming up in the next month or so I’m going to be doing a yard sale. I don’t have a set date at the moment but I am in the process of collecting stuff to put in it. If you have some junk you don’t want, I’ll take it! Just text me 205-237-0869 or message me on Facebook and we can arrange drop off/ pick up.
