God’s timing is not always your timing… This past May, as I finished up my first year of college at the University of Kentucky, God told me not to go to school next fall. I was confused and had absolutely no idea what he meant by that or what I would do. He revealed to me that I was to go on mission and be a disciple in different countries through the World Race. As I started to apply for the Race, I told my parents what I had heard. They immediately began to cry and said that God already told them I was to go.
I’m fascinated by His works and overjoyed by this opportunity! I learn more and more every single day and grow more and more in love with Jesus! Being obedient to God can be scary or hard, especially if you don’t know where it will lead, but trusting Him and saying YES is amazing!!
God’s timing may not always be your timing or what you think is “the best time”, but it is better than you can ever imagine! I’m excited for this new journey and ask that you keep me in your prayers!
