Fundraising update!
Yes, I made my goal of $3,500 to get to go to training camp. I will be going to Atlanta, Georgia on May 14th to kick off the first of many interesting adventures. Training camp is where I get to meet my team IN PERSON (we do facebook and webcam chats) and get a taste of the things I am going to experience while out on the field. We really don't know much else about camp except it is going to be a time of breaking us down physically and emotionally along with starting to build bonds and trust with our teammates. Adventures in Missions is keeping most other details on the "hush hush" so I am sure there will be updates on camp and how that goes! 🙂

As of today I am 1,058.01 short of my next deadline. I need to reach that amount by the end of June to be able to LAUNCH in JULY. Reaching my first deadline would mean I am guaranteed to get to share the gospel with the first 3 countries, it would also mean I am well on my way to my next goal of 11,000 for the next 3 countries after that.
Please consider helping, here are some simple ways.
As of now I have a few things I would like to propose to all of you. They are simple ways to help me get to my goal that are of little effort to you.
1. CHANGE for CHANGE (no coin left behind) – Brake a dollar, find a penny on the floor, find a quarter in your couch cushions, or that random change in your purse/ pocket, just toss in in a jar or ziploc bag. (I will provide the ziploc bag if you need one) 😀 Once it is filled or you are ready to turn it in, call me and I will pick it up. All change will go toward making a change around the globe!
2. ALUMINUM and PLASTIC are quite FANTASTIC! – All I'm asking is donating your bottles and cans to me. Collect them and I will get them off your hands. I'm willing to do a weekly pick-up so you don't have to have the clutter. This is helpful to our environment and a great cause!
3. One mans TRASH is another mans Treasure– I hope to have another yard sale in June. I hope to collect old stuff you would like to get rid of during your spring cleaning! Laps, figurines, furniture, books, frames, you name it. I will be making pick up rounds starting June so get cleaning my friends!
I really appreciate all the help I can get. If you have any other ideas to help me fundraise by July please write me!
* Since I will be at training camp in May, I will be picking stuff up as of June.
