This blog is about ministry last week here in Thailand. This week we have had a lot of rain where we are going and on Monday we are headed to the villages and I won’t be able to post as much. However, I will be excited to share all the great stories we are getting

This week has been a crazy one for ministry. We are working with YWAM in a small town in Thailand. We showed up and they asked us to go to the university to share the gospel and invite the students to a meeting on Thursday (tomorrow). On Monday, as we started this thing, it was very hard for me. I and a few others on my team mentioned that we would really need to pray to have the Lord give us a heart for ministry this week. Everything that we were doing was completely out of my comfort zone. As we walked the campus and went up to students, we introduced ourselves and then told them why we were in Thailand.  Then our translator would take over and share the Gospel, stopping every now and again to tell us what the conversation was like.

The next day, I wanted to branch out and not just listen to someone else. I grabbed a teammate and walked around and did some prayer walking around the campus. After a little bit we decided to walk up and talk to a few girls. With that I was able to share a bit of my testimony with them. I was still nervous and hid behind my teammate really.

Today, was a different story. I decided to just go for it and take a stab. I am so glad that I did. I got to meet this girl named Natasha. She had never even heard of Jesus before. I started out asking who she was and telling her who we were and why we are here in Thailand. After that I felt the Lord guide me to just go into the gospel. I was able to share with her and afterward I was able to pray with her. I am praying that the Lord will use that seed and grow it. I am hoping she finds hope in Jesus and becomes a Christian and accepts the gospel.

I have definitely seen a change from feeling like a wallflower and useless to being able to actually share the gospel with people. The feeling I got right afterwards was so much joy and peace. I am excited to keep doing what the Lord has for me and sharing with people who have never heard of him before.

Here is a picture of me and my teammate Allison and Natasha.

Please be in prayer for the seeds that have been planted this week on the Mahasarakham University campus. Pray that they will see the freedom that comes from following Christ.
