Well I can honestly say that I had very little expectations for what would happen at training camp. And I’m so thankful that I came in that way because to be perfectly honest it would have been very difficult for me to be open to what God had planned for those 11 days.

Alright, to start off the recap of camp I’m just gonna say that I consider myself a pro at setting up and taking down my tent and stuffing all my gear in my pack. I’m confident that I could go camping out in the middle of nowhere and survive but definitely not without H squad by my side!

I’m going to take a moment now to brag about H squad. The fifty of us had such a joyful, and growing experience at training camp. Even more than what I could have imagined! We banned together to set up and take down our little nylon and mesh homes, we danced without shame any time that we could, we prayed and worshipped together, we went without showering for days (for some the whole week), we worked through some personal difficulties (that struggle bus though) as a team, and we always made sure that no man was left behind. I can honestly say I am so very proud of our team and consider myself very lucky to be a part of this squad and get to travel to Asia with them.

H squad if you are reading this: I am inspired by each and every one of you. The selfless love you all shared, the words of encouragement that were flying all over the place, and the crazy passion that each of you have moved me beyond words. I love you all so much!

Having said all of that, I will say that last week felt like it lasted a whole month. And not for anything negative, but so much happened physically and spiritually last week that it was like God made sure that not one minute was wasted. I still have not processed everything that went down but just know that it was pretty incredible.

My faith was strengthened, my love for people increased, my peace to be on this squad was confirmed, and my excitement for this adventure is now through many roofs.

If training camp was a glimpse of what the next year is going to look like, then holy moly! It’s going to be an amazing year!!!

BUT in order for me to experience everything that God has planned for this year I need all of you. I need the body of Christ to lift me up in prayer and to fund me on this trip.

If you wish to give towards my trip you can go to the link on the left of this blog that says “Support me”! I want to also encourage whoever is following my journey to share this with the people you know!

As you can see at the top of this blog I have about $4k right now! I must have $7500 by August 22nd in order to launch with my squad at the beginning of September!

I greatly appreciate every soul that believes in the calling that God has over my life and that has chosen to sow seed into it! It does not go unnoticed by me and definitely not by our God.

All my love,

Janet
