I just want to first say thank you and welcome to my journey that God has put on my heart! My name is Janelle Jenovese and I am 22 years old. I’m a teacher for the most energetic, bubbly, and friendly two-years I have ever met (FYI, there is no such thing as terrible twos, haha).
I was born and raised in Volusia County, Florida. I have two half-sisters, plus two two step sisters. I have a loving mom who only wants the best for me and a hard-headed step dad who I love dearly. My dad passed away and joined our King when I was 14 years old. My family is well complicated. I must say though I am so glad to have the family I do have and I love them all dearly from all parts of it.
My friends that I have become friends with this past year have really shown me the definition of true friendships. God has blessed me with such amazing and beautiful people to be around and I must say they have really impacted me on a lot of things I do today. I could not be more thankful for them and more grateful for their support through everything.
Some things about me is I have been out of school for over a year now to focus on my full time job and serving at my church. I love to read books, its probably the best way for me to take my mind on things. I like to explore and learn about new things. I love to help in any possible way that I can. I tend to do that a lot. I love learning about culture and peoples backgrounds. Someone’s story or testimony is always something so awesome to hear.
The thing I love most is our Father’s Love. He has changed my life in so many ways possible. I must say since finding Him everything seems to make much more sense then what it did before I knew Christ. I am redeemed, a daughter, I have hope and love.
In my spare time I am serving at my church Liv It Church. Liv It Church is my family and my home. I am privileged and blessed to guide a wonderful group of 7 to 11 year olds into walking along side with Christ with our childrens ministry. I am also blessed to be able to work with outreach team. I get the opportunity to go out and pray, feed, donate clothes, and talk about them about God’s love and grace. Lately I have been feeling His presence and calling me to more.
I am so blessed to be given the opportunity to join the World Race. Me and my group of amazing and wonderful missionaries will be backpacking in 11 different countries in 11 months. In those countries we will be working with orphans, sex trafficking victims, building churches, and of course spreading the Gospel of our Father.
Jesus is love. grace. hope. freedom. and so much more.
