  1. To learn about the first Christian private school that is currently being built by Global Learning Academy in Jeffrey’s Bay, South Africa.
  2. To know about the kids that have don’t it easy in a town that looks well put together but is really struggling with gang violence, drug abuse, physical abuse, and feel like their voices aren’t heard. (South Africa)

  3. To be able to see one of the 7 natural wonders in the world. (Table Mountain, South Africa)

  4. To be able to play Uno cards all night with two brothers in Christ who used to be struggling in gang violence and shared their testimonies while playing. (South Africa).
  5. To meet an 11 year old boy who got left behind at an orphanage because his mom couldn’t take care of both his disabled brother and him in Swaziland.

  6. To have huge, unforgettable tickle wars till there’s no tomorrow while snacking on huge pizza pies with the children at El Shaddai.
  7. To be able to work at a preschool, where the kids come to school barefoot, have holes in their clothes, and teeth are rotting because they can’t afford toothbrushes in Mozambique

  8. To experience a 5 hour African christening for a new baby girl, Andreasa. (Mozambique)

  9. To experience a taxi that’s only supposed to have 12 passengers but in the culture they usually fit almost 30 people.
  10. To experience these amazing things that God is doing in and all round me these next 8 months ahead.

I have been gratefully blessed these last 3 months. I’ve seen God work in amazing ways that I’ve never seen before. Meeting a guy who was in a gang, got saved the first week in South Africa and became one of my good friends. Being able to be part of a boy’s life who I may not see again in person but will be there for any way possible from the states.

I couldn’t do all of this without God or my supporters. I wouldn’t be able to have the strength to keep going without God. Yes. I am extremely blessed.
