Hello friends! I have just finished with the six country on the race!! It’s crazy how quickly we seem to be moving through each place. At the beinning of Rwanda, God started speaking “Ephraim” to me over and over again. I wasn’t quite sure what it meant, so I searched scripture to find the meaning. I found it in Genesis. Ephraim means “making fruitful in a strange land.” At the time, I had hit the notorious ‘wall’ of the race, which is around the halfway point. I was tired of packing, tired of being stretched, missing my friends and family, battling discouragement, and I came into a team leader position which held its own challenges. Yet, God came at just the rigt moment and spoke comfort and clarity into everything that was happening. It was an incredible reminder to me that this year God was making me fruitful in places that were unfamiliar, uncomfortable, and challenging. He reminded me that the his purposes are great, and to persevere because it would be worth it in the end! This month in Kenya, our contacts church was even named Ephraim! What an awesome promise! 🙂 I have grown so much these past 6 months, and I have learned more and more about my God as each month progresses. It has been an incredibly hard journey, but it has been a full, deep journey into the heart of God as well. His hands have been molding me even more into his likeness through the refiner’s fire, and I feel myself changing under his hands. We have another deadline coming up, and, as of now, I have a little over $5000 to raise by March 15. March 15 is the final deadline to be fully funded. If I do not raise this amount, I will be returning home early. My team and I are calling it the Ephraim Challenge! We are believing God for $5000 in 22 days! I know that sounds crazy….22 days?! But we know that God meets every need and he is our provider. If you would like to partner with me financially, you can do it electronically by clicking the Support Me link on the right of my blog or
